When you use the Cushy Index calculator:
- Your salary figures are calculated client-side in your browser
- We do not transmit your salary, city, or household data to our servers during normal calculator use
- No account or personal information is required
Information We May Collect
Analytics
We use privacy-friendly analytics to understand aggregate page traffic (e.g. most popular pages, device types). This data is anonymised and not linked to individuals.
Email capture (optional)
If you submit your email to receive a salary report, we store your email address and the information you voluntarily provide (city, salary, job title). We use this solely to send you the requested report and relevant product updates. You can unsubscribe at any time.
Standard web logs
Our hosting provider may log standard web server data (IP address, browser type, referring URL, timestamp). These logs are used for security and performance purposes only.
Cookies
We use minimal cookies — primarily for analytics (if enabled) and session preferences. We do not use tracking cookies for advertising. You can disable cookies in your browser settings without affecting core calculator functionality.
Third Parties
We do not sell personal data. We may use the following third-party services:
